@applebloomsarepetalknives actually, going through it, Twilight is scary. It's about a girl who doesn't think for herself, allows her boyfriend to yell at her, mentally and emotionally abuse her, tell her he's doing it for her own good, tell her periodically he hates her, but it's because he loves her. She can't do anything for herself.. she's in abusive relationships the entire series and it's romanticizing it for little girls. It makes me sick when I hear kids go "oh.. I wish I had a relationship like that". I would be mangoesED if a guy treated my daughter like that. As most dads would, I'd hope. It's DANGEROUS to offer that as a "good" thing for girls. it's really just sickening to me that it is acceptable to tell girls it's okay to let guys abuse you.
