it's stunning to see how many (WP) #themes that are supposedly "responsive" do not (nowhere near) use the full with in amaximized browser on a large monitor (or largish - mine's 24"); just one example (view on large screen!): http://themefurnace.com/themes/?theme=Gridster what's all that white on the right for? this is just not usable!

nearly done... made GREAT progress and learned a lot, too, but I'm tired now and afraid I'll make mistakes if I do any more #hacking - apart from time for food and drink, I've been at it for some 18 hours today :D and I found out that the #piwigo devs had the same idea I had yesterday - only I'm implementing it in *just* templates (because #themes is what I'm working on) while they're taking a more fundamental approach; but the principal idea is exactly the same. what fun!

I found: 1) none of my photos in #piwigo had any geo information embedded (meh); 2) when I added one _with_ geo info the map from #openstreetmap #plugin did not display correctly: had to tweak the theme to correct this; 3) the plus: that taught me a little about how #themes in piwogo actually work!

HELP: about the #statusnet #themes: 0.9.9 http://gitorious.org/statusnet/mainline/trees/v0.9.9/theme >=1.0 http://gitorious.org/statusnet/mainline/trees/master/theme who knows which worked in 0.9.9 and 2 seem to work only in 1.0 ?

HELP: can you send me #screenshots of the clients you're using for #statusnet (I don't want to install these http://status.net/wiki/Apps + unlisted ones) ? I will make those pics available on 1 page (sorted: OS, ...) with links + info. My thinking is this: we need again better #themes in #statusnet (in version 0.9 there were many) and as weird as it sounds - instinctively - people (I'm thinking now about e.g. #facebook users since I read a comment at twitter) also #judge the statusnet instances by that and don't see the available clients. And the next time someone like this tells this we'll just show 'em the #fancy side of the #fediverse (clients)
