@vt3c lol i've hit someone with my Nokia (they survived and learned a lesson), but yeah mins been dropped, kicked, run over etc. and still works hence why i'm not going to simply replace it for something new, besides i hardly use the features it already has, i only need a phone to make and receive calls and sometimes texts.
-
@vt3c my phones nearly 4 years old now, not going to buy another till it either breaks (ha unlikely) or it no longer operates on 2g
-
@yodelerty it survived though thankfully, did not want to get another one out at 2 in the morning
-
@vt3c i find tablets hard to use, so i prefer my desktop, heck my phones still not of the smart variety (i can prove this as i backed over it in a bus and it never moved out of the way, gotta love Nokia's)
-
@yodelerty indeed, $69 for 18GB download limit on wireless, which is still better than that for 5GB, but people still get unlimited services elsewhere
-
@yodelerty nah, that's standard, hell we still don't have ADSL in allot of places
-
@scoot cos i'm a bit of a troglodyte?
-
@yodelerty nope Country Vic were about 10-20 years behind most places
-
why does youtube need ads? ugh
-
@yodelerty lets say that radio out this way is slow to adapt
-
@awlderpy indeed, but if you manage to do it right, it can be one of the best investments you will ever make, a place near here recently sold for $800k
-
so many genres of music now, i once remember when there were 2 kinds of music, Country AND Western
-
@awlderpy but that also means rates are sky high too :/
-
@awlderpy thanks and yeah sucks when property prices fall out, though thats never been a problem here, mines valued now at more than twice what i bought it for
-
@awlderpy i'm glad i got it payed off before losing my job, though looks like i might be getting another very soon
-
@awlderpy i'm happy, i'm on 110 acres that backs onto a river and the state border.
-
@pr1nc355c3l35t1a i only know this from answering a question vaguely similar at school
-
@awlderpy i have to travel about 3 hours to get to snow, its rare here, except in the mountains
-
@pr1nc355c3l35t1a most obvious would be hi last
-
@bowandlyre well, knowing them they would most likely hit themselves, however if they fired at Australia, well even locals don't know where i live so i'm safe
-
@awlderpy i've worked in snow and didn't mind that, but i prefer mid 20's or lower, not too hot, not too cold
-
North Korea, have little dog syndrome, big bark and no bite

@awlderpy yep way too hot and worse when you have to load/ unload in it, but not so bad when i was driving fridge vans trucks lol
-
@vt3c i tried snorting coke once, the bubbles hurt my nose
-
@awlderpy considering we can get days with upto 50+ (celsius) the cooler the better
-
@nerthos indeed, it works well, especially with a healthy dose of sarcasm
-
@nerthos thats why you have to put protection on your router
