@desmondreznov #ooc It's a mark from a deal he made with the "darkness" quite a while ago (a few years) - In exchange for quite good control over Dark Magic (which he excels at after the absense), he let the darkness be put into his heart. It constantly grows, and it can be purged to lessen it, but cannot be removed.
