!vgp I was playing Disgaea 3, and I had a character with old equipment I hadn't changed out since the time I had made the character, even though I used them very often in battles. Later, when I tried to change their equipment, I noticed an odd HUGE stat difference in what the average item of that type said I'ld be losing if I exchanged it for a much higher-rank item. Thinking it was a glitch, I swapped the items out. The mystery-stat boost disappeared, and the item is now just a regular weak low-rank item. Anyone know what happened? Is that normal? I know there's "Lover" innocents that do something vaguely stat-boosty, but I don't know if that was that.
