@applebloomsarepetalknives Yes. There is. I can confirm that for you. ;p Some people do it as a joke. Others do it because they're really that personally attached to the characters. Aaaaaaand some do it just to troll. I'm the sort who does it for what I like because I like it, or if someone requests it and I like the idea enough. Drawings, anyway. I'm not much of a fic writer.
