      1. @odin # ...did... did I read that correctly? Old Norse MLP:FiM? Pinkie = Loki!

        1. @onixus I compared My Little Pony to Norse myth, with Equestria being Asgard and Canterlot being !Valhalla. The ponies are Einjerhar and the pegasi are Valkyries. Princess Celestia is a representation of me and Luna is representation of Loki.

          1. @odin # Hmm.. Luna as god of fire and mischief. Hmm.. OK, why not!

            1. @onixus And Celestia as the God of wisdom, battle and poetry. Granted, that doesn't make an awful lot of sense, but it's as close as I can get.

      2. @odin I did indeed and I meant to thank you, so thank you! It amuses me that the closest to "My Little Pony" is "My Small Horse". :)

        1. @thelastgherkin I was just making sure you got it. Vikings weren't exactly familiar with the term "pony" as we know it. As for the "small" part, they used terms "small" and "little" interchangeably. In fact, there was no difference. There were multiple words, but they all meant the same thing. # http://ur1.ca/3yrzr

          1. @odin I can honestly say that by the end of the day, I will know more about Vikings than I did at the start!
