Had to say this before sleep, all I could think about. MLP FIM backwards is a story about a Princess named Celestia who, with her most faithful student Twilight Sparkle and her friends, use the elements of harmony to try and seal her younger sister Princess Luna into the moon, however this fails and instead transforms her into the evil Nightmare moon. Despite their best efforts Princess Celestia is trapped, and the day becomes night. Twilight and her friends slowly break their friendships apart while running from Nightmare Moon’s evil ways. Eventually, Nightmare Moon decides to seal herself into the Moon to attack in 1000 years. All the while Twilight Sparkle, now with no friends, moves to Canterlot to study with spike. All the while Princess Celestia waits for the day for her sister to leave the moon.

@cutiemarkcrusader I love those backwards interpretations (though the pilot is indeed sad!). Swarm of the Century backwards is about helpful parasprites lured by Pinkie to repair Ponyville and provide food; the other ponies try to persuade them to stay (while Pinkie returns some musical instruments), but then they start to eat each other. Eventually, Fluttershy loses the only one that's left.
