@fachi what would the plot be? we don't know anything about any of the background ponies. Most of them probably don't even have voices!

@starshine we really don't! everything we think we know about her is either inferred, or rooted in fandom. the belief that she's a mail carrier is only supported by her appearance in Feeling Pinkie Keen, where she is shown helping out with a delivery truck or something. And the whole muffin thing is just because her only line in the series thus far (except for "SURPRISE" in episode 1, but that doesn't even count) is "Muffins!" this doesn't mean she is obsessed with muffins, it just means that she was excited about free food--and who can blame her? Not to mention that her official name isn't even Derpy, it's Ditzy Doo.

@nightwillow Fanon becomes canon! As Lauren said, Derpy was just a space-filler at first and probably wouldn't ever have existed as a speaking role at all if not for all the fan interest.

@nightwillow It would probably be a day in the lives of bg ponies, so very short stories that would personalize their characters a bit.no voices needed if done correctly.
