@bigponymac Not much, woke up at 7 this morning (which is where I was aiming!) after getting to bed later than I wanted... but I feel VERY refreshed after having a messed-up sleep schedule for days!

@thewolverine That's good. I'm just siting here enjoying the fact that I have power again. You don't realize just how much we rely on it 'til it's gone for a few days. lol

@bigponymac Ah yeah... I've experienced power outages before... but never that long. I can't imagine what that would be like.

@thewolverine I sucks let me tell you. And that's not the longest outage I've ever experienced. We had an ice storm back in 1996 that knocked the power out for at least a week. THAT was horrible.

@bigponymac Eek... I guess I feel lucky I never experienced anything devastating like a tornado when I lived back east. Stuff like that can happen to anyone.

@thewolverine Yes, it can. It's like they were saying on the news. You don't normally see a tornado outbreak like this in the South. This is something you only see out in the Plains states. But the conditions were right and Mother Nature decided she was going to unleash some mother f'in fury. She isn't prejudice. She'll take out anyone.

@grumpycookie Yes. Luckily our neighbor had a generator and a couple of refrigerators and let us put our cold stuff in there. A couple of days later we acquired a generator so everything was fine.

@bigponymac hey! It's good too see that the power has kept up it sounds like the clean up and repair process are going pretty fast which is great news

@bigponymac I bet the sheer damage from everything is incredible but I guess this was just god testing the souths resolve and us southerners are a tough bunch and we will rebuild and get stronger from all of this

@bigponymac true we have had a lot of destruction in the last decade but we always take it with stride, rebuild and just hope for a better future that's what I love about the south
