  1. Hai gaiz, how are you?

    1. @fialvert Morning Fial, I've been watching anime for 9.5 hours straight now :D

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 14:46:02 UTC from web
      1. @loak Sounds entertainin'. I'm not into anime, or things like that. Hard to find an anime that grabs my attention. Books, on the other hand, are endless entertaining.

        1. @fialvert Ahh, I'm a big fan of anime. I find interest in many different genres so there's always something new and entertaining. I do like reading every now and then too ^.^

          1. @loak We all have different interests, can't do anythin' about that. Some people like reality television, for example. I do not like those people.

            1. @fialvert Can't stand "reality" TV either.

              1. @thewolverine I've always said it's pretty bad that scripted sitcoms are typically more realistic and natural than the genre that's actually labeled "reality".

            2. @fialvert Oh I certainly know what you mean. I can't stand television. Most of it is not interesting or funny at all and also, I can't stand how many commercials there are >n<

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 14:58:29 UTC from web
              1. @loak and the commercials on TV are nothing compared to the radio!

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 14:59:39 UTC from web
                1. @starshine @loak Oh God this. You think TV adverts are bad here? Try the radio, 'specially on a ClearChannel-owned station. I like the music played on this one station as it mixes 80's and 90's stuff that I like with current stuff, but man, the commercials on it... don't get me started >.>

                  1. @thewolverine I broke out a stopwatch on a radio station once. It was roughly 30% commercials, 10% DJ chatter, and 60% actual content.

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 15:03:37 UTC from web
                    1. @starshine Heh, on this station I'm referring to, it's way worse.

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 15:10:43 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
                  2. @thewolverine Well, I don't have TV or radio, I just use Youtube and stuff. I do still hate the commercials on the internet-advertising is getting kinda out-of-hand recently.

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 15:03:44 UTC from web
                    1. @tdtwix yea...

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 15:06:06 UTC from web
                    2. @tdtwix honestly? I don't mind seeing commercials on, say, YouTube videos. They don't interfere with the video itself, the ones that play before the video are usually fine with me because I know they're only 30 seconds and then I can watch whatever I went there for. Not like, oh man here's ten commercials in a row right at the climax of some epic movie.

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 15:06:19 UTC from web
                  3. @thewolverine @fialvert @starshine Radio? What is this contraption you speak of? :D

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 15:04:35 UTC from web
                    1. @loak Huh?! Radio? What's going on with that radio?

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 15:05:53 UTC from web
                    2. @loak It's some old-fashioned thing that people used to use before it was possible to stream music on the internet. Crazy, some folks still use those contraptions.

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 15:07:36 UTC from web
                      1. @starshine First off, most of the time it's not even music on the radio. Second, it's usually crap that I'd never listen to. Hooray for the internet!

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 15:09:20 UTC from web
                        1. @loak I actually used to host my own local radio station at my apartment complex on an unused station. People would tape music requests to my door.

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 15:10:12 UTC from web
                          1. @tdtwix lol that's actually pretty cool xD

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 15:12:25 UTC from web
                            1. @loak Yeah, but it got tiring since one of my laptops ran Ubuntu for the radio and the other one ran Windows so it got a bit confusing knowing which one I was supposed to use since the laptops look exactly the same.

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 15:14:01 UTC from web
                              1. @tdtwix I'd put stickers on them.

Saturday, 30-Apr-11 15:15:20 UTC from web
                                1. @starshine I put stickers ( or other markings ) on pretty much everything I own anyway :) although I must admit, laptops *shrug* I never had any laptops since 2002, I'll be happy to read what happens :D # time to make dinner :)
