@haganbmj I have lost power but we have a battery backup for our router. I should have 4 hours of internet. Thanks man! I didn't think it would get that close watching it on TV but then I looked outside...

@thewolverine @magicrussia @critialcloudkicker @ignaesia @retl @nutterguy @haganbmj and #everypony that remembers from a couple of days ago. We survived the storms. We managed to dodge two more tornadoes after the close encounter I shared with y'all yesterday. We're still without power and it will possibly be 3-10 days before it gets turned back on, so y'all won't be hearing much out of me for the next few days. I got my laptop and battery backup charged. That's how I'm able to post this right now. We got lucky unlike most of the surrounding areas. 1,000,000+ without power here in Alabama and the death toll is 200+ and rising. Thanks for everyone's concern. <3

@bigponymac Wow - That looked really close. So you're running on reserve power for internet access though, that works out well (for a few hours). Hopefully there aren't any more storms in the near future!

@haganbmj I think there's still some coming in from Mississippi, but I don't think they'll get close to us. What's funny is that this is the second round of storms for us today. The my county already got tore up from the first batch. The college I go to was ripped apart.

@haganbmj Apparently, this tornado outbreak rivals the one that happened in 1974. I think there's going to be another tornado pass just to the south of me. I'll find out in the next 15-30 minutes.

@bigponymac You're welcome ^_^ I'm glad I made it out of all of that too.. I was so paranoid that I would die or lose my incredibly unstable house. Neither happened, thankfully, but there was some property damage (down trees, greenhouse ripped apart by the wind, wooden fence blown over)
