@thelastgherkin Step 1: Gilda as Sol Badguy | Step 2: Pinkie Pie as Ky Kiske | Step 3: BATTLE PICTURE | Step 4: ?????? | Step 5: Satisfy Zark's dream while not winning anything.

@zarkanorf But not winning anything is precisely the thing I was trying to avoid!

@thelastgherkin A low-key piece reinterpreting Twilight and friends VS Nightmare Moon showing all of them performing a variant of the attack from the show using the Rainbow of Light. Make dramatic use of warped perspective and foreshortening. The focus should be on the movement of the characters, and Nightmare Moon's face. Keep other non-important stuff relatively bathed in shadow to save the effort of drawing it in detail. Be careful when handling the background to add a lot of detail in the places that are lit ambient by the light produced from the Rainbow of Light. Stylize the frig' outta everything.

@zarkanorf I'm fairly sure it can be epic if it's done by the right person. I don't have the patience or familiarity to execute a low-key piece like that any time soon, though. XD I'd need to do a lot of research on lighting. I'm hoping someone who CAN do it or at least is willing to try will see the message.

@retl As winning an idea as this is, I'm probably not the right person to do it. Foreshortening terrifies me, stylisation is pretty much impossible for my ordered brain to handle and shadows are my nemeses. I have just realised why I am not an awesome artist. :(

@thelastgherkin ( Pretty much every artist is awesome to somebody when the right lines of thought from people meet up. ) Understandable, though. I think if someone's really going to take that idea to town, they'ld want to have at least 4 hours set aside for it. Maybe do it monochrome to save time. (Heck, I'd be more impressed by a nice finished pencil drawing than a full color digital one. XD )
