Oh how I want to record an album and give it to friends... I hate my voice though :(

@thewolverine that's natural. You don't like it because it's not how you think you sound. The more you hear your voice recorded, the more used to it you'll be. Listen to recordings of yourself, a lot. Everyone else already hears you that way and surely they don't all hate it :)

@starshine Yep, I've actually sang live on voice chats several times... I think I get better each time. Just a matter of time, I think!

@thewolverine I want to be a singer, too. I don't think my voice is anything terrific, but I try to improve all of the time. Everypony I've sung to thus far has liked my voice, so I guess I'm on the right track

@magicrussia Cool. I think my thing is, I have Asperger's and I tend to get very quiet. Not really wanting to sing in front of actual people just yet...

@thewolverine At least you can sing. I pulled many a Scootaloo performance that no one liked when I was younger, and lots of people still don't like my singing. I sing anyway like a derp. *shrugs and grins* Point is, you have a talent, and if someone that isn't talented tries, you should definitely try!

@moonprincess @draggle My voice? It's a tad bit deep, with some raspiness and somewhat of a southern accent. I sing country music the best, but it's not what I want to do >.>

@thewolverine Ahaha, my voice is like... a bizarre mixture of Bostonian and backwoods, according to some guy who said he could pinpoint ANY accents. (I'm not Bostonian...)

@thewolverine But country music is what I lean toward with serious songs. With non-serious songs, I'm all over the place, but serious songs I write come out either country or rap and no one would take me seriously if I was rapping, so I opt for them being country.

@draggle Heh, most of my songs are of the serious nature... I write similar to someone named Mike Doughty, and try to make mine similar to his... not exactly, of course.

@thewolverine If I write rap, I think I come across as an Eminem rip off (in a taller Reba McEntire / Kathy Griffin body, but I digress)... =P Not because I'm WHITE, though.
